No I'm not afraid of spiders. As a matter of fact I don't have a phobia against any animal ( or anything else for that matter), I'm just being cautious with obviously dangerous animals. The same things with rats, aside from that they can spread deseases and I don't really want them in my home, I'm not afraid of them. Spiders on the other hand I usually leave alone in their corner as they eat flies and other insects.

We should be happy we don't live in Faerûn where Swordspiders and Direspiders lurks in every dark corner.
