I've been doing a bit of thinking lately, and I'm just wondering how the rest of the world perceives Australia...
I've kinda been thinking about how it feels to be Australian, and what its like to have people chuckling as we suckle the teat of the big world power (the US of A). I don't personally feel a tremendous alignment with my government's policies, but at the same time I am proud (in a strange sort of way) to be Australian.

If you can be bothered, I'd like to hear what you see as the Steriotypical Australian. It could be Crocodile Dundee, or just a sportsmad fanatic. I don't know if any of the Aussies in this forum will influence your perception, but hey.. Just pretend you have to write a short paragraph of what you know about Australian people in general.
If you want to be funny about it, thats cool but I'm genuinely interested in what you've got to say. Not quite sure why... but hey... I am. I'm not going to take things personally either, so don't be afraid to let loose.

Also, if you are Australian, how do you feel about being aligned to the land downunder... or do you feel no bond at all...?

Thanks if you reply
No hard feelings if you don't.

Cheers
