How would you fill in what is behind the subtitles? When you remove the text there will be blank spots behind where the text used to be. You will need to use a relatively powerful editing tool to fill in those blank spots. imovie doesn't do that. I've used imovie and it's not any easier than the rest of the programs out there. Final Cut Pro is actually created by Apple as their professional video editing suite. It is much more powerful than imovie is. Premier is pretty good, but not quite as user friendly as final cut.

For the record there's nothing wrong with Macs. The new G5's look amazing!!!
