Not that I don't think everyone deserves a cold beer or two. The homeless and those responsible for their charity have more important things to worry about. Mental illness, alchoholism and drug use are major factors in homeless cases. Providing a home address in a community style barracks, simple nourishing food, and stable employment, rather than beer, would be a good first step for those wishing to better the lives of the homeless. What surprises me is the number of homeless who have little or no desire to change their lifestyle (from my trip to Wash. D.C.).
