OK my problem with hormones isn't the effect on humans. Rather it is the effect on animals. A 2 week old chicken shouldn't weigh 4 pounds and not being able to move. It's that simple. Adding hormones to promote growth until the chickens break their legs is inhuman and awful.

As for the human body breaking down all hormones, that isn't true. The human body is not able to catabolize all the hormones it synthesizes by itself. Therefore an added amount can creat an unbalance in the human body. Several hormone are created from cholesterol which the body can't break down. So not all hormones are being catabolized.
