The usual method is to copy a file to a USB drive, plug it into the back of the player, and run the update procedure.

However, the file needed is a .DSO, not an .ISO, as shown here...

GOG have Master of Magic on sale for $4.19 - it comes with DOSBOX but uses a Windows installer that does all of the work. I've only ever had to make minor adjustments for screen size.

You could try disabling the into movies by editing the nwn.ini file :

Add the line

Disable Intro Movies=1

to the [Display Options] section.

If you leave out the word Intro it disables...
