Dumbest thing you have ever been asked to do in a pug instance/raid
 

I often get asked to sap beasts and elementals. But the cake would have to be when the GL, a hunter, asked me to "cast CLoS on the tank".

Sorry, I should have changed the title to say a pug instance or raid. My guild doesn't do that either...but I've been in heroics and pugged a couple of raids where I was asked to do that (specifically Heroic SP).

Too long to type them all out. Suffice it to say this is why I very rarely PUG - even then it's usually a nightmare.

Ahh yes, pugs. I encounter these so far

~ Sap beast, elemental, undead and bosses.
~ Sap adds (in a middle of a bos fight)
~ Want me to stunlock something at a push of a button. "Stop hitting it! Just stunlock it!"
~ Stop greeding a boe green because someone think I've won one too many.

was told to sheep Mograine in SM Cath at level 38.. Ahh the good ol early days of being noob :)

I once got kicked from a pug before a heroic instance even started because someone saw I was in Moonkin form (or "moonkin spec" as he called it) - the fact that I was dreamstate resto (and only picked up moonkin because it's just 1 point and I was already deep enough since I had dreamstate, and it helps loads with grinding) with around 2k healing didn't seem to make any difference :( idiot.

I've also seen this situation before:

- Tank dies - I cast Rebirth
- Group soon after wipes anyway
- We all start running back to our bodies, all except for the tank that is
- Upon re-entering the instance I get a whisper from the tank saying "res plz"
- I say "I can't"
- He says "wtf why"?
- I say 25 min CD remaining
- He says something along the lines of "omfg" and then I read "You have been removed from the group"

Ah good times...
