Tainted Crack Cocaine!
 

I just heard about this on the local TV news. The Police are very concerned. Five have been sent to hospital and 1 died.

Is this a contradiction in terms or what!

And it's not really a new problem. Drug makers try new formulas to create a cheaper product that they can charge more for. And the addicts are their lab rats.

Tainted with what? I've heard that dealers "cut" the drugs with everything from Drano to ground glass. Can't say I feel too sorry for the victims. This seems like a problem that'll fix itself.

I went to the ATV/CTV news website, but could not find anymore info on this. It was near the end of the news, so maybe they didn't think it was that important.

Found this video link about it in Halifax. No date available to me, but I assume it's the one you're talking about. Can't find any other references... at least, not at first glance.

Interesting comment at the beginning, about how when you buy drugs on the street, you never know for sure what you're getting... or something like that ;)
