I know in BG2 that the Greater Wolfies there require you to do damage quickly, but this is insane! I counted up all the damage I did to him, and came to the total of 269 points of damage. My party includes:

Me (Thief)
Imeon
Kivan
Brawyen
Ajantis
Xan

The average party level is 6-7. Now what am I missing here, that can kill this bastard? I found him last night, and have not been able to beat him since. I know it is required to kill him, in order to escape the island, so HOW DO I DO IT!?

There is a dagger that you need to find that will kill him, cant remember if its on the actual ship or if the old man in the house near the ship has it, either way that's what you need.

Ye, you can only kill the "boss" with silver/gold-wepon

Nevermind. The Greater Wolfwere requires that you kill it really fast, like all other Greater Werebeast. I went outside, had Xan memorize Haste, and just used that to kill the bastard. Had to have him held though, besides that, my party was barely injured.

Gorion dies? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I remember having almos tno problems with that greater werewolf - I had myself, sharteel and minsc, all under improved invisibility and haste. We just slaughtered those werewolves, about 1 death per round. Shar teel was fighting with Wolvesbane dagger, myself with sword of balduran, minsc with varscona. I was also wearing wolfbane amulet from the mage.
