I accidently Stumbled upon this & found out that i could make any member the leader instead of me & then they'll be the central character who'll do all talking & switch flipping by merely clicking on the characters potrait & dragging it up the hierachy (OFCOURSE this might seem really silly to the pros who might have already discovered this but not many newbs might would know of this) i guess...

Some NPCs also have funny responds when you assign them as leaders... ;)

Actually it's quite a good strategy if your character is a mage and you want to protect them towards the back. Notice this doesn't make the NPC the "Bhaalspawn" character; your own still retains that subtle uniqueness. ;)

The only drawback, I've noticed, is if an NPC does the talking, you miss out on some of their snappy comments regarding the situation. They won't make side comments if they're the ones doing the main talking.

I mainly use this technique inside a dungeon (like putting Anomen in the lead in the Graveyard district armed with the upgraded (Illithiumed) Mace of Disruption. ;) I usually switch back to the original order again afterward.

yeah I like it when u put minsic as a leadeer "Minsic and Boo will lead with blade and boot...Boo will take care of the details *squeak squeak*" lol Does he say the same thing in BG1? I didn't like minic in BG1 he wasn't like........funny he didn't like......speak.. when I clikced on him he just said "YOU POINT I PUNCH" minic in BG2 "YOOUUUUUUU POINT IIIII PUNCH!" Bg2 has more life more enthusiasm.

Jaheria is my group leader. I put her there 1. because I am a mage and 2. she has the highest charisma.

LoL When I talked to the "adult entertainer lady" she sais she was sorry, she didn't walk on that side of the road... LoL

in bg1 he said, "Magic is impressive, but now MINSC leads, swords for everyone"

I don't think the fight with Amalas will work with anyone else than the PC though, will it? Once when I approached him with Korgan (bleh, Korgan was better than my PC) he just said "Aw, bugger off" or something like that...

If youre talking about the bully in the copper coronet, He only acts tough when his 2 sidekicks are around...& im curious what characters liike Aerie,Cernd & nalia would say when i offer them the leadership lol,

Jahiera: "as i have said before, you couldn't have made a better decision" (or something to that effect)
Minsc: "Minsc will lead with blade and boot... Boo will take care of the paper-work"
Aerie: "oh... i dont think im cut out for this leadership stuff"
