I'm running version 1.1.1 for the MAC version of the SOA, are there any other patches that I should install (everything I find is for the PC.

Thanks for your help

Most of the patches you can find at Baldurdash (http://members.rogers.com/mrkevvy/) can be applied to the Mac version of BG. You just copy them into your overrides folder - you just don't get the convenience of using their installer since it's an exe.

If you want to install everything, I think someone has even made a Mac installer, but I don't recall the link off the top of my head.

so i download them individually and then put them in the override folder?

Anyone know of the mac installer?

Hi,

You can get the mac installers here :

http://ire.mainecoon.net/IRE/betas.html

You should install both "Baldurdash bg2 fixpack 3.61" and "Baldurdash bg2 Text Fixes".

Thats all you need

The mod installers all claim to be able to be run my some windows emulator which I cant recall the name of. This will be really important for weiDU type mods that cant be installed without an installer.

I would recommend getting a PC and the PC version of BG2 though, since that way you can get ToB which I dont think is ever coming out for mac.

Thanks for your help, Buying a PC is not really an option just for one game, I love my mac too much anyway (but that is for a whole other forum)

This is one of the few game forum where people actually give you help, without the smart-assed comments (I'll let the buy a PC comment slide - just kidding). Thanks guys.

Lilandra
