New front page in the works for IW! (Check THIS out!)
 

Remember the old forum software UBB? And how the front page had widgets that allows the 'last few posts' and 'newest members' shown? (It's still on the frontpage at www.ironworksforum.com ) but its old.

This software needs a mod to add that feature, and I'm coding that in now-- Check this frontpage of another forum to see what IW's main page will have:

It'll be awesome!! A Calendar of events, POLLS, and tons of other things! Doesn't that look so cool??? :D
Now our frontpage will look better, with IW colors and the like--and it won't seem as messy looking. But the options are really cool.

Whats even BETTER is this mod is FREE! :D Can't beat that. (Then I'm adding a few new games to the gaming section for you guys to have some fun :).

PS: Each Forum will have its own IW logo again soon too!

Good stuff

The lack of a 'up to date' front door to this otherwise great forum has been a problem for a while IMO .. I am sure with the software and your design skills it will look and be awesome Dan :D

lol, yeah, I decided to leave the old widgets there on the front page, because it'd look quite bare without them :D So, yeah, soon, no more outdated, confusing post widgets! :D

Looks great! I can hardly wait... especially for the games!

Ya know, it'd really be cool if we could set up tournaments for the games. It looks like it supports it, but I can't figure out (or don't have permission ;) ) to start or enter a tournament. Any chances there, Z?
