Funny as hell -- Howard Stern tape-dubs Ophra!

I remember hearing this on a friends Sat. Radio, and it was funny as hell-- I warn you, its graphic (cussing etc) not for work. (its a youtube vid, but its really audio)

The first 15 seconds is bad, but the rest is funny kinda.. in a sick way. :D

I got through several seconds. That's all I needed to hear.

I'm curious. The Darwin Wannabe thread was closed after a couple of complaints about the content, but this thread remains open after the same.

Maybe my first post didn't state my feelings clearly enough, so I will correct that.

I find Howard Stern's "material" to be extremely offensive and I don't feel it's appropriate content on a forum with many young members. I also thought profanity was - at the very least - strongly discouraged on IW. Yet the thread title, links and even another post all contain open profanity. I don't feel that is appropriate either.

I think it's hilarious. Howard Stern is usually profane material but that's what makes him funny!

I have found that profanity is discouraged by some members, but not actually by the rules or the webmaster at all. I have always casually cussed in posts here as per the rule about cussing not being censored - and so has Ziroc I have noticed :).

I understand a thread was closed and you are wondring the difference, but I think this is an issue for PM.

I appreciate your input, SpiritWarrior. I'm no noob to IW by any means and I understand the Rules of Conduct here. I understand when an issue needs to be disussed in PM, but I also understand when an issue should be discussed openly and I feel this is one of those times.

The other thread was closed because it contained questionable content. With the number of young members on IW, Howard Sterns is also questionable content, IMHO. I realize several people actually enjoy his crudeness and vulgarity, but I (and apparantly some others) do not.

So, yes, I'm wondering the difference between the two threads and I think it's appropriate to ask this question publicly.
