Help with updating darkstone, can't post in darkstone catagory
 

i have version 1.0.0.0 of darkstone, and all the updater i can find, here or anywhere else, want to update version 1.0.2. Is there any update for version 1.0.0.0 to make it version 1.0.2?????

i was trying to post in the darkstone catagory, but it won't let me

Bemused; I entered it as a google search for "Darkstone updates" and it came back with a whole heap of hits, the first of which includes US and European updates to run through from 1.00 all the way to 1.05.

Just a note on this, the 1.03 patch will update from 1.00 or 1.02 so if you ahve already found that you should be fine.

If you still can't find these then pm me and I will send you a link. Years since I played that - don't even know where my disks are now :)

It gives me the error of

'Old file not found. However, a flie with the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match'

i need to know how to fix that. i found patches and all, they just all give me that error. i right now have the patch from Thanatos Realms

Try taking your saved games out and then reinstalling, you may have a corrupt installation.

The Darkstone area of IW is archive only. You can read and search, but no active posts. You can try the Miscellaneous RPG forum if you wish, or post here. But there may be members that check Misc. RPG, but not check GD.
