Soulfein missing?

So im in the underdark, and I have talked to Soulfein who tells me to go to the mindflayer city to save the daughter but when I get there he is not their. I haven´t waited more than 12 hours either. Has any one had this problem before?

Are you sure you're at the right place? It should be the lower-right corner of the map...

You're not waiting *in* the city, are you? You need to be on the main Underdark map.

No, I have played the game many times before. I went to where he ussually comes. But when he did not show up I went back to town and there he is, saying "I am meditating about the future don´t bother me"

this is going to be a bit vague but i'm *pretty* sure i've have had problems with sola being where he's supposed to be before leading to a revert to saved game
