Where can a Time Stop Scroll be found/bought? My solo mage is going to need it for kangaax bashing. Also what is the maximum number of Spells that can be wrote in to a spell book with an int of 19 (may mage has been through bg1)?

You can write all spells. (There should be a .pdf manual in your BG2 folder. There are tables in it.)
9th level spells can be acquired very lately in the game.

Anyhow, you can buy a scroll in the Underdark (forgot where), and a scroll from Ribald in his 'secret stash'. ;) </font>

I'll check my guide tonight and see if that is right, it makes special mention of the scroll, because Time Stop is one of the best spells in the game.

Unless you have the XP CAP removed you'll never be able to cast Level 9 spells unless you do it direct from the scroll.

However, if you have the XP cap removed via cheats, or install ToB, you can never cast Level 9 spells.</font>

Xp cap isnt a problem (i got tob), my mage is lvl 21 and i havent even left chapter 2 or done the Watchers Keep. It sucks how there isnt a time stop scroll till much later into the game, but the rest of Soa is going to be a push over even without it though.
