I am trying to figure out how to calculate the DC of a spell. I have greater spell focus illusion and greater spell penetration, intelligence of 20 and i'm level 8. what should the DC be of phantasmal killer. it shows 22
but I can't find in the manual how to calculate.

Spell DCs are 10 + Spell Level + Spell Casting Ability Modifier + Spell School Focus Bonus.
So that's 10 + 4 (level) + 5 (INT) + 4 (Greater Spell Focus: Illusion) = 23 for both the Fortitude and Will save
Spell penetration only comes into play when trying to beat your opponent's spell resistance.
