Hey, me and a friend (who never played the game before) is startin up a new game.
I was planing on a crossbow shoting bard, but was wondering if their are any good crossbows in the game and where can I find them? And is thier any diffrence between heavy and light crossbows?

heavy crossbows have a higher speed factor so shoot later but have a damage bonus compared to light crossbows

best crossbow as far as i'm concerned is the 'light crossbow of speed' available to buy from the smith in beregost

Just make sure you stock up on ammo if you're planning on using the light crossbow of speed.

The light crossbow of speed is great since it's available quite early in the game. There is one great heavy crossbow but it is available later in the game and only if you follow a certain path.

My advice is get light crossbow of speed soon as you're able, then if you get the heavy crossbow consider the pros and cons and see if you want to switch.
