well when i walk into the slum in chapter six. i want to get to the illmater temple to do the yoshimo's heart quest. i met a Gith, he wanted the sword, i gave him a fight for it, but before the battle can begin, the game kinda freeze, damn this is too much like ice wind dale, keep freezing in the end! i guess i'll download the new patch and see what's happening.

Something like this happened to me. Not a bug. i just think my party was too scattered for Giths to appear. Or the screen was somewhere else.
So, keep your party together and always look at them. Giths should appear properly.
