I used to watch this when I was a kid but don't know its original name. Was very popular in Syria back then. If anyone knows it I'd be very grateful.

looks like astroboy drawings (they are similar). I guess thats the only hint i can give you is more or less that anime was being shown is the same time as astroboy.

OK maybe I can give some storyline (but this was so long ago...)

Takes place in feudal Japan. The kid dressed in red can do all this ninja stuff, and the large guy is his sidekick.
Er... they fight all those evil guys...
