Fox News kicks Ron Paul from debate.

I know it's not a shock, Faux has a conservative agenda, but geez, come on... Let EVERYONE have a say. This time he does have a large enough backing/support to be heard.
All these cookie cutter politicians are boring as hell.

Anyone else watching him?

Yeah he's like a closet democrat and they don't like it I guess. As far as fox goes, they were supposed to host one of the democratic debates this week but the candidates all refused to participate because it was..well...Fox. So they can only host the republican debate while othere stations like CNN and NBC have held both. I love how this wasn't even mentioned by Fox at all. After all, they are "fair and balanced" according to themselves. I really hope the first thing Obama does when he gets elected is ban Fox from airing any political and news/media programming. Let it run the Simpsons only.

I do know that Ron Paul has caught the admiring eye of Timber Loftis and he has posted some interesting articles about him. He does seem like a Republican who is willing to break free of traditional ideology. But do genuine free thinkers ever succeed? I wish him well.

Closet Democrat? He's the closest thing to a real Republican that the Republican party has at the moment! You won't find a stronger advocate of small government in current day mainstream politics. Just because he's against the Iraq War doesn't make him a Democrat.
He does have some pretty extreme ideas about how to run the US, though. He's great as a foil for other candidates, but I wouldn't want him anywhere near the actual Presidency. His 8% approval rating within Republican ranks in the current primaries is just about right, I reckon.

Good call there Papa Schlumpf. He is indeed to the most Conservative candidate of all.

Just shows how neo-cons are pseudo-conservative socialists.

And yet says himself that he has more in common with democrats than his own party. He does indeed also call himself a "real republican" shamelessly in the same sentence. I amn't making a personal observation as opposed to simply quoting he himself.

I like him alot also, about the only republican I like. If he is the last of a dying breed then I don't like the new breed.

He's the brother of one of the pastors at my church... not that that means much of anything, but now you all are no more than two degrees away from him, and three from the rest of the candidates...
