How do i find the baldurs gate INI file?

it's in the main folder whre you installed BG.

If you have "hide extensions for common files" in windows XP enabled, you might see the file without the .ini extension.

If you still can't find it go to Start -> Search -> For files and folders -> All files and folders. Enter the file's name and wait for seearch to find it.

Just hijacking this one, since it's almost about the same.
I have found the .INI, edited and such, but when I'm ingame, hitting ctrl tab, nothing particular happens. It's just the same as if I should've just pushed tab.

How come?

Are you running Vista? If so, you have to edit it as Administrator.

check this out. however if you decide to install mods, then you will have to remove user account, and change the normal baldur.ini file for cheats.
