Cloudy's Cafe



Come in, be welcome, be comfortable, be yourself

Welcome to Cloudy's Cafe, a place to have a cup of coffee or a good
darjeeling and the finest in conversation and camaraderie.

The proprietor asks that you follow a few simple guidelines:


this is a real conversation zone, not a role-play zone



* no flaming; if you disagree with a viewpoint expressed by any patron, please do so in a civil manner

* any topic is fair game, but keep posts to the standards that Ziroc has set for the entire forum, please (ie: foul language is not appropriate and things should be suitable for all audiences)
-a side note from Cloudy: I see this as a place for those short
conversations about a new baby or the latest soccer fiasco, not for things that are big enough to warrant their own threads, by all means give those things the space they need and post separately!

* Please, no one word or smiley posts (Ziroc has declared them 'real spam' and the proprietor doesn't want the reputuation of "good spam" to suffer!)

* do feel free to be serious or silly and enjoy the company of others while you are here. By all means POST if you have something to say, even to start another topic , we can handle multiple chats, we're a CAFE!!! But be courteous and don't disrupt a conversation just to disrupt it.

Come on in! The bar is stocked with coffees, teas, juices and waters from around the world. And purple napkins, of course!

The lighting is low, the golden oak counters and tables glow with inviting warmth. Near the window, the lighting is brighter, as comfy, plush leather armchairs wait for those who'd like to read a book while relaxing to music or just lazily watch the world go by.

First post. Ya'll alright?

Going to an 18th tonight, but due to lack of funds I'll not be drinking, and driving instead. Should be good...bleh who am I kidding.

Hey there people. Just checking in. How is everyone? Good i hope. I know i havent been on much lately, but life sucks. Hopefully i'll get some free time soon and i'll be able to get back into things. Tell Ziroc i said hi if anyone sees him.

Well I have today off and plan to sleep! Yes, sleep! That glorious, wonderful, hard to get thing we call snoozing, resting, getting some z's....BOOYAH! :D

Oh and do laundry and clean up the mess in the living room and ... hmm... how many hours are there in one day? ;)


Had a great weekend with the hubby. We went on a retreat up in the hills and really enjoyed some crisp fall weather out in the countryside! Great way to reconnect with each other and to appreciate a bit of nature. No phones, no televisions, very nice!

Well that was a nice weekend. Saturday and Sunday were oddly warm, so Igathered a few friends and went camping/rock climbing. Glad we were homeagain by sunday night though, Monday has shown it's bad side. Lots of wind, and lots of rain. Hardcore style. :D

:happywave: Glad to see y'all had some QT Cloudy! Anyone round here live near me here in Fl? I need some tiling experience because I have a kitchen floor, back splash and a bathroom as well part of a bathtub/shower area to tile and its takin me forever!!! Have I mentioned I hate laying tile? :D

Hmm, only news here is I've gone and given myself repetitve strain injury. *sigh* So all my writing and art is on hold until i can hold a pen again.
