Habib was a character created by a player who won the Interplay contest. The prize was to have a character of your invention in the game. There are a few others, like the Fallen Paladin you first meet in the Fallen Paladin quest.

If you think in-game cameos are plenty in SoA, wait till you enter ToB. ;)

You have to know the crowd over at the BlackIsle Forums though.

I never really noticed any In-game cameos in ToB, but then again, i dont know the crowd either :(

Gromnir and Draconis are two of them. I know Gromnir( you might too, he made some of the Baldurdash fixes), and have seen Draconis post before( BlackIsle Forum, not here). I am sure there are others, but my memory is fuzzy on the rest.
