Anyone else out there getting as sick of the loud mouthed big guy as I am? I've played a lot of parties with him, from BG1 all the way on up, but lately I've just had the overwhelming urge to leave him spending eternity in Hell as some pit fiend's plaything. Even Boo is starting to look good in a tasty hamster stew, or smeared on the bottom my shoe.

Anyone with me on this? I realize this is dangerously close to committing blaphemy, but I can't take it anymore.

In BG1 I dumped him right after his quest, as I didn't to drag him and the hag around, so I don't have as much exposurte as you do.
I think he talks way too much, and I hate when he says "Butt-kicking for goodness", but still find "A den of SssTinking evil" amusing.
At the sacrifice of the others conversation I just turn the frequency of talk way down.

I never take Minsc in my Baldur's Gate II party permently. I took him in BG but not in SOA. I only take him until I get Keldorn and then it's bye bye Minsc. I'm with you on this he is annoying. He was funny for a while but he gradually wears thin and begins to annoy.

yeah.. just hate him when he opens his mouth... how i wish i can erase his sound files.. sometimes i even go to the extend of turning off the volume (playing the game in mute mode)....

And why being anonymous anyways? I've never cared much for Minsc either, doesn't mean I have to be ashamed of that. Besides, the only ones who are really offended by such a stance are probably people who take BG2 a little too seriously. Ditto counts for people who claim to hate certain characters. They're just pixels. They won't ever change their attitude, whether you're drooling or flaming them all over. ;)
