Amazing how my Ford gets about 30 MPG and it's an SUV.

Yep (actually, it's a Mercury Mariner Hybrid, which is just a dressed up Ford Escape).

That's an Ariel Atom chassis... the car I've rated "most likely to get the wife pissed at me for buying". I want one. In the states you can get them with a 300hp GM powerplant... that's an 1100 pound car with 300 ponies (thats a GM powerplant BTW, the very nice ECOTEC), that's sport bike power to weight, but it handles a heck of a lot better than any sport bike ever dreamed of.

For the price of Vette you can own a car that will demolish just about any street legal car in the world on a road course... those crazy Brits!

The gas version goes to 60 in well under 3 seconds, and run 0-100-0 faster than anything costing less than a million or two.

Owning a Ferrari isn't about the car. It's about proving your manhood by spending an obscene amount of money on a car. While the other car may be fast, it doesn't enhance your penis nearly as much as an exotic. :D
