Hi,
I won an auction but the seller was really bad, I want to leave netural feedback, but don't want negitive in return. If I won the item at 04-Jun-07 18:45:57 BST how long do I have to leave feedback? |
Well, a seller won't put a feedback anyway until the buyer puts theirs first. And if you delay, he might give you a negative for that, especially seeing how you described him as really bad.
My advice is if you received the goods in good shape and (reasonably) in time, just leave a positive rather than risk him giving you a negative. |
You can leave feedback at anytime. The norm is 7 days..

I just wondered if the option to leave feedback ran out after a month or 30 days or something.

When in doubt you have two options.
1. No feedback. 2. A positive feedback rating with negative remarks. I have done this several times. Positive = Seller was fast to cash and slow to ship. Package arrived several days after seller said item was shipped. Item arrived as described, three weeks after auction ended. Seller provided contact information, pay options, and end of auction sale within 24 hours. Seller shipped unwrapped package through regular mail 13 days after auction ended and charged first class shipping and x $ for packing and handling. People will be people! |
Last I checked 90 days is the time limit for both buyer and seller. Though they may have changed the policy in the last year since I stopped using E-bay religiously.

Yeah that's what I know of the timespan. You can wait until the last second and leave the negative feedback, avoiding him leaving any on yours. Or, you can leave positive feedback with a "But" in it, such as "Received goods in stated condition but took longer than expected and emails weren't responded to".

Cheers guys!
