Man some people just piss me off. I was out burning dead tree branches in my fire pit this weekend and a man pops over the fence (Mr. Wilson thing) and ask me if I want to switch energy companies, so I am no and no. Fair enough then he goes next door to my next door neighbor who as been an immigrant in this country longer than I have been alive, nice man, doesn't speak English that well, but is really hard working. So this guy goes over there and starts spewing his mouth. The first thing he does is ask if he speaks English, and my neighbor says no I don't speak English just joking. Then this guy starts fuming and foaming at the mouth. Well you towel head wearing people better start learning because they are changing the rules for you guys. My neighbor is like I am Punjab or something and I don't wear a turban. Anyway after a bunch of other really racist generalizations he ask him if he wants to switch energy companies. I am pretty pissed so I tell my wife and she says I should get his name and company name. I walk up to this guy and he has gone to a young Asian couples home, they come to the door and he says "Sorry wrong door", because they are Asian, or because they had large boggers hanging from there nose, but I assume the later. Then when he comes out I tell him I am a little busy but what is the name of his company in case I change my mind, he tells me and I say, so "who should I say referred me". Then he goes on the defensive because I probably don't look like someone wanting to buy energy with steam coming out my ears, and frothing at the mouth but at least I kept cool to get his companies name. He says, "look buddy this is a job that I do to make a living." I say "Fine but I am going to phone your company and tell them I don't want them sending any raciest pricks to the neighborhood". At that he turns, leaves and didn't go to the next house or any more in the area. My wife phoned the company and the Asian girl at the end of the phone was really upset and could hardly believe it. They will know who he is if there are any contracts sold in the area because his name will be on it, but if not there is not much they can do. Talk about representing your company. My wife told her we would never buy energy from this company as a result of this guys actions. If they do find out who he was than he will most likely have to undergo some sensitivity training or whatever they call it for initial complaints. If he keeps it up though and they get more complaints he will most likely be fired.
