I saw this done on another board. It's kinda like a registry for soloing. You post what class/multiclass you're going to solo with. Hopefully we can get every class covered. The basic rules

1) Difficulty: Insane.
2) Only one person per dual/multiclass combination (ie kensai9/mage is the same as elf fighter/mage)
3) Only Baldurdash fixpack and latest <u>official</u> patches allowed.
4) Preferably both SoA and ToB, but if you're absolutely broke and can't find ToB anywhere, it's ok. ;)
5) Send me a screenshot of the end of your game, either via PM or send me email. Check my profile.

I'll take Wild Mage, because I've never used one before.
Two questions:
1) How do you take screenshots?
2) This is soloing SoA only? If not, what about those who don't have ToB?

1) In order to take screenshots, just press PrntScrn button (next to scroll lock.) They're saved in Baldur's Gate II/Screen Shots

2) If you've only got SoA, only solo that. If you've got ToB though, you should solo that too.

i started soloing this week with a thief assassin.

I started soloing 2 weeks ago, now I am lvl 26 generalist mage, and! I have finally found ToB today! Now it si in my pocket waiting to be installed and played... Will send screenshot later...

Who's going to solo the Shapeshifter?!?

One person whom I met over at the BlackIsle Forums succeeded in doing so, for both SoA and ToB. That was many months ago though, and I will be hardpressed to find that thread again.

The amount of flak that Shapeshifters, Wizard Slayers and the Beastmaster (among others) received in the past was surreal (as they are actually quite powerful, although maybe because of ToB). I remember a lot of people were just simply amazed that he succeeded.

Chalk me in for a Barbarian. He is in the last chapter. He is also level 40. But I am doing WC first(on the last level) before I go and finish SOA off. Then I will send you the screen shot when done. The last battle should be a joke.

By the way what are you going to do with the screen shot.

Ive a monk in the final ToB battle. Dont know if it counts since I have Ascension installed, and anyway I screwed up my HLAs so I dont think Ill be able to finish it. If I ever do finish Ill send you the screenshot.
