A few days ago, I installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my Geforce 5200FX. Unfortunately, now I have trouble locating the refresh rate override control. This is extremely problematic, since using the refresh rate override is the only way to get rid of the 'monitor out of scan range' error that seems to plague a number of games. Does anyone know if there is some way to enable it?

In the NVidia Control Panel, under Change Resolution Attributes, there is a refresh rate settings option...but I have never seen an "Override" feature that I recall. I even did a search for this is the Help section, but could not find anything relating to what you are asking.
I guess I am nowhere near what you are asking. Sorry, I do not think I know what the feature is, unless you are calling it something that is known as something else officially. |

You could try doing a search under tweking that specific series card, or similar. |
Thanks guys, I appreciate the imput and the trouble you've gone through. I recall that the Refresh Rate Override was initially a seperate program, but I believe they also included it in the 91.(..) drivers. And now.. it is gone. :(

Should anyone have the some problem, I've come up with something that resembles a solution. ;) The program 'reforce' emulates the same effect. Works like a charm.

Yes they did. But I think Coolbits adds it in if it isn't present (along with Temperature Settings). Try installing it. Google Nvtweak for the latest version.
