Some one told me that early on in one of the side Quests that there is a good sling does anyone know what Quest this is?

I'm not aware of any quest that gives a good sling although I suppose there might be an enemy that drops a +1 or +2 sling.

Imo the best sling in the game can be purchased but you need to install the bonus merchants. It's the Sling of Everard, a +5 weapon that requires no ammo. You'll need some seroius gold to buy it though.

If u dont have the Bonus Merchants, the best sling in SoA is the one that u get when doing the Temple Ruins quest, the sling is a +3 weapon which does more damage to dragons.

The Sling of Seeking +2 has the potential to be the most damaging sling in the entire game due to one reason. It is the only sling that factors in damage bonuses from high STR.

If memory serves me well, there is a +4 sling that you can find during the course of the Cult of the Unseeing Eye quest.

Although the Sling of Everand is +5 enchanted, the phantom bullets only get a +2 damage bonus. It is however, the most practical sling, since it does not require reloading.

There is only one +4 Sling in SoA, the Sling of Arvoreen. And this can be found in the Underdark. IIRC, there are no Sling connected to the Unseeing Eye.

The Sling you are asking for, Tom, is probably the Arla's Dragonbane, in the Temple Ruins, belonging to the sub-quest the Umar Hills. ;) </font>
