I had no problems printing webpages with Firefox 1.5 but ever since I upgraded to Firefox 2 I've had problems with printing via Firefox. Basically, when I print, no matter what setting I choose in Print Preview or Page Setup (eg Shrink To Fit, 30%, 100%, etc) the page I'm printing comes out in a tiny box and there is heaps of white space around this tiny box. If I change the settings it only changes it WITHIN this tiny box, and doesn't make the box bigger. It doesn't matter if I change the margins or not, it's as if it thinks that that tiny box is the size of my page.
Here's a print preview of my problem: http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/669...blemca1.th.jpg Any help? I've tried printing the exact same pages with Opera and IE7 and there is no problem. |
Nevermind, I fixed it...sort of...

What was it? My interest is piqued.

You need to specify that you're printing to Letter or A4 in your printer settings (mine was set to "user-defined"). Strange as IE7 and Opera (and the previous firefox) both defaulted to Letter/A4 but this one requires you to explicitly choose.

Eh? Mine is 'Letter' by default.
