I love games like Baldur's gate and ice wind dale and i also love online games but i can never find any free online games which are like the above if anyone know's of any i would really appriciate your reply.

The closest to this is Guild Wars. You have to buy the game, but online play is free.

Or Neverwinter Nights which isn't an MMO but can be played online. It uses the D&D system too.

You can buy the Never Winter Night game very cheap now. While it is not quite as good as BG2 (is anything? ) the game is good to play then when you tire of that just download the module and CEP pack from the links provided on the above post and enjoy many happy hours of free online fun.
