Plz i need to know what spells my sorc should learn when i lvl at the moment i have

Lvl 1 : magic missle , chro orb , burn hands , ident , protection from evil ( no other good lvl one spells )lvl 2 : detect invis , acid arrow , mirror image , lvl 3 : skull trap , remove magic , lvl 4 : stone skin.

Assuming you are in a party and can only reach level 17. This will be my personal preferences. Feel free to choose other spells. Different Sorcerers, different spell lists.

Level01: Settled already
Level02: Detect Invisibility, Melf's Acid Arrow, Mirror Image, <font color="white">Resist Fear, +any one more spell</font>
Level03: Skull Trap, Remove Magic, <font color="white">Melf's Minute Meteors, Flame Arrow</font>
Level04: Stoneskin, <font color="white">Greater Malison, Emotion, Minor Spell Sequencer</font>
Level05: <font color="white">Breach, Lower Resistance, Spell Immunity, Animate Dead</font>
Level06: <font color="white">Contingency, Death Spell, Chain Lightning</font>
Level07: <font color="white">Spell Sequencer, Finger of Death( Ruby Ray of Reversal if your Sorcerer is the only spellcaster in your party), Mordenkainen's Sword</font>
Level08: <font color="white">Spell Trigger, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting</font>

IMHO at lvl 4 you should choose a fireshield instead of emotion, at lvl 6 you need true seeing (i think it is the 2nd most important spell in the game, after breach). Other than that my only advice is to make animate dead your last lvl 5 pick as it is fairly usless before lvl 15 (after that it is the best summon in the game, the skeleton warriors have 90% magic resistance! Great against enemy mages). Hope this helps!

Fireshield requires that you be in melee contact with the enemy. As this is not an ideal situation, we will want to minimise such incidents, which means that Fireshield will rarely be used.

Unless you belong to the school of thought that tool up Mages to be literally balls of pain (as in you use your Mages to be invulnerable tanks, so you use Fireshields as well to return back some damage).

Unless Tom-Slayer is a soloist, True Sight will mean a wasted spell slot as other party members can cast True Sight (Clerics, other Mages, Inquisitors, Book of Many Spells, and Bards).
