Is there an evil alligned thief character? if not is there a neutral one besides yoshi? I hate how he betrays you.

Nope. Actually there's a dearth of evilly aligned characters in general.

well how a i supposed to disarm traps after yoshi dies? viconia can find em but i cant get rid of em.

Check out Jan. You need nothing more than a mc thief in BG2. You might also consider puttin in a spoiler about the events surrounding Yoshimo.

If u r soloing, try summoning monsters to die for u, but if u r a fighter u can only pray that u will survive after the trap hits...

yoshimo is supposed to die to give the extra slot for your sister. anyway, your sister is a thief also.

I agree with true moose. Jan is chaotic neutral, so he fits pretty well into an evil party. He's a multiclass thief/illusionist, so he has enough thief levels to be useful, and is also a useful backup for Edwin.

<font color="gold">As already said, Jan is CN, so he should be your best choice. Haer'Dalis have some thieving skills, beeing a CN Blade.

As Legolas said, you could always take Imoen, but she is CG, so I guess she wont fit so well into an evil party. ;) </font>

To put it simply Jan is a MUST have for any evil party. He doesn't mind being in an evil party and his thieving and mage skills will be indespensible. Even if you are in a good party I'd still take him as I always do.

You find him selling his wares in the government district in the park outside the governemnt building if you don't already know.

Zarr is right. If you have edwin he complements him. Edwin has lots of spells including death spell. Jan has extra illution spells but no necromancy spells. And his own equip is very good. Inbuilt detect illusion. Excellent thief. Excellent Mage. What more could you want.
