It's Labor Day w/e here in the States. Doesn't Canada also have this holiday?

I was tied up in some sort of DVD marathon, watched 6 movies in a row. I can't believe you can actually get tired of laying on the sofa all day long watching TV. :D

Yes, it's the same holiday here. Church is going to be pretty quiet tomorrow, I think.

We just finished up our yearly staff training. Business as usual- Rape crisis centers, battered women's shelters, dredging up emotional trauma, and of course getting ready to move first-year students in on Monday.

Battered women? And to think all this time I have been having mine plain. ...ok that was bad taste :D

I am still recovering from last night. Got invited to the Brisbane Invitational poker game and went celebrating.

LOL! Okay, shadowhound, that really was in bad taste... but kudos on stepping away from the obvious bad punchline :D
