(Contains spoilers concerning the final battle in the Asylum)
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Just kicked Irenicus's behind (as Minsc would say) in Spellhold. I took Saemon's advice of getting the inmates to help - only now they're all dead! The battle wnet well enough. I had all the buff spells cast on my party that I had memorised - bless, haste, chant , defensive harmony, stoneskin, ironskin, protection from eveil 10' radius, fireshield, spell deflections, etc, etc - everything and the kitchen sink. So I whack away at Irenicus using acid arrows and Melf's Acid Arrow, reason being that (hopefully) the acid attack would disrupt his spell casting. I had a few summons to take care of the clones. So when Irenicus decides to bug out, I don't know what he cast but all the inmates died! So, RIP to: Dradeel Wanev Tiax Aphril That little girl (can't remember her name) They died serving the cause of (my) freedom... ;) On to Chap 5!! |
The inmates die no matter how the battle goes.
|
The Released Murderers backstab them.
|
The girl's name is Dili, and I have to ask, does she actually do anything in the fight or not? I can't remembered her.
She should have taken Irenicus's face (again)! Pay him back for the confusing clones. |

Luckily I had 2 summons still surviving, and they took the brunt of their attacks while the party peppered them with arrows, bullets and bolts. |
Irenicus casts Rapture of The Father. A spell that kills six characters without a saving throw and bypassing magic resistance.
|
The little girl doesnt participate in the fight
