Whoa, that was amazing. I'll bet that took a long time to put together, and synchronize.

Harkoliar 07-14-2006 10:00 PM

Its actually an animation.. fooled me as well

robertthebard 07-14-2006 10:42 PM

Yeah, but to synchronize the music to the animation must have been fun.

Bah! No sound on this system!.. :(

u should watch and hear this at the same time. pretty wicked

First you make the 3D model, assign tone values to the pipes, set a few bounds, and introduce the music. The program is designed to synchronize the animation to whatever music it is fed(that it can classify in it's tone definitions).
Impressive stuff really, but the animation itself took a short time compared to the programming of the model and the software.

Nifty work. I wish I had the patience for it.

Madman-Rogovich 07-15-2006 10:14 PM

Does that mean you could throw any tune at it and it would still produce a synchronised vid?

robertthebard 07-16-2006 12:10 AM

So long as it fits into the programming of the tones, from the above explanation, I'd say so.
