When i cast a spell and want to cast another spell it takes time to ``recharge``
how do i decreas this ``recharging``?

There is no way to reduce the casting time of spells except for few items, which do exactly this.

Yes, Amulet of Power and Robe of Vecna does reduce the time between the mage starting chanting and the effect going off, but they do not alter the fact that you can only cast one spell each round. (no you can't autofire magic missiles, this is not a shoot'em up game).

One thing you CAN do if you want more spells off in less time is to (of course) make some more mages join your party OR use the spells Minor Spell Sequencer or Spell Sequencer. Both of which allows you to cast multiple spells at once.

Once you get HLA's pick Improved Alacrity and you CAN auto fire magic missles ;)

IMHO the best option; it comes in VERY handy if you have some high level mages. Makes them cast all sorts of fancy spells (like Dragon's Breath, Comet etc.) in no time :D Ta-ta enemies! :D

Another way to do this is to use Shadow Keeper, and give yourself the spell "Daer' Ragh's Aura Cleansing". This has the same effect as Improved Alacracy.

The History: Daer' Ragh is a mage in BG1, he gets angry at you if you read a grave in Nashkell too many times. He eventually goes hostile and you have a very tough fight with him. It is fun. Daer Ragh also has some other spells for access through Shadow Keeper.

Ive never found Daer' Ragh to be a problem. Not compared to his Pheonix Guards anyway.
