hmmm I can understand how this guy's life became a nightmare, but I think he's trying to lie his way out of it. He's saying the laptop was in working condition, and he received no polite requests for a refund but... if you look at screenshots of the auction he's cliaming he's a businessman and the laptop belongs to one of his emplyees... then there is the case with the ipod... somehow I think he's been lying from the start..
