Just finished writing an assignment on the new Act and I was wondering the opinions of other Australians as to if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

I don't completely agree with everything in the act, but I think it is a good thing for the most part.
I have always been against trade unions and seem to always see completely opposite to them [img]tongue.gif[/img]

But rather than go into a big political argument, I will just say I agree (not that much can be done about it now....)

Well the major complaint against it seems to be the removal of unfair dismissal laws for companies of under 100 employees.

I keep hearing a lot of heated opinions about the whole thing but, so far, not a single person has been able to tell me exactly what the changes imply. I haven't voted because the simple fact is i don't know. *shrugs*
