I was recently visiting a friend and he was playing through Icewind Dale 2. During his game-play I noticed that his characters were,
well let's say extremely powerful (and we're talking, they had just arrived in Targos and already had +2 & +3 weapons/armor).
He told me about the cheats, since I have already played through the game and beaten it, I thought why not....use the cheats and
the creature creation codes and see what I could come up with. I thought the cheats worked the same as those on previous titles..
BG, BG2, TOTSC, TOB, IWD, HOW....yet when I enter them into the cheat menu "chat bar" all I get is "nice try cheater". What am I
doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the message, "nice try, cheater" is quite clear enough. ;) Irregardless, if you wish to pursue your path of cheating, ask in the IWD2 Forum where it is more relevant.
