When playing a Westwood RTS, which side do you prefer?

There is one thing I forgot to ask; what is your favorite westwood RTS, and why?
Mine would be Emperor: Battle for Dune. No other Westwood RTS comes even close to it..

Dune 2 was great back then (although nowadays the inability to select more than one unit, yes, that's one unit, at a time might entice me to throw the PC out the window and run about the room screaming), but the later versions (where the select issue was resolved) were a bit behind the times. Of the C&C and RA games, the one I liked best was the original C&C. Although I may have liked Dune better (I loved the Ordos deviators even though I usually played the good guys in blue. Ornithoptors, Sonic Tanks and Fremen were cool too [img]smile.gif[/img] ).

Red Alert cut scenes with Tanya are really nice :D !!!

What do you think of the Cinematics Westwoods RTS games are known for?

Actually in C&C generals they do use the game engine for cutscenes instead.

What I choose to be depends on the map played, as well as what my opponent choose. But I like the big and bad powerful russians. In the newest C&C game, Generals, I went with china at the beginning because they had the role of the russian army(the red communists). But now I changed side to the US. I like their technology and units, even though China is indeed a powerhouse when it comes to units [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have no preference in choosing which site to play. though there's no option there in the poll that let me do this.

However, In C&C : General, I choose USA because I can't make a difference of GLA and China's footsoldier. They both got the same colour.

Mine fav WW RTS is RA2, I always play with the French or Iraqi.Grand Cannons and Deslolators rule ass!

I have to say that when playing Red Alert 2, Yuri is my favourite choice, although it seems from the poll results I am by myself on this [img]tongue.gif[/img] My little tactic is to play Skirmish with myself and two Comp players vs. 3 other Comp. players, the two allied with me being one Allied, one Soviet, then with superweapons I can Nuke, Storm, and Psychically dominate the other three enemies rear ends ;)

You know, you should build a Yuri Prime someday then force attack him to take over the allied and sovjet base. Now you can get all the superweapons yourself [img]smile.gif[/img]
