Since it's summer up here in the good old northern hemisphere, what's your favorite ice cream (or sorbet, or cold treat) flavor? And who makes it?

We've got a very easy homemade ice cream maker, and I think the BEST flavor we've had so far was cantaloupe, which tastes just like the fruit it is made from. Second best, even though I'm a chocolate lover, is a vanilla made from a several-generations-old family recipe.

What's yours?

I like most ice creams. Off hand I can't think of any that I don't like. But my favorite is french vanilla. It is sooo much better than regular and you can put anything on it. :D And toppings are a must when it comes to ice cream. ;)

Sorbets really do it for me. especially strawberry.

I do love really good chocolate. And orange sorbet. But I always go back to vanilla, especially with chocolate sauce/flakes on it [img]smile.gif[/img]

I like most ice creams, especially with fruit flavour. But my favorite is pistachio and vanilla. :D

I used to prefer strawberry over all the other flavours, but that mostly passed. Then there was a time when I almost always picked walnut flavoured ice (with little chunks of walnut in it of course). Right now I'm in the late stages of my lemon period, I think.
Aside from those, I like vanilla and anything with chocolate in it lots too. I always go back to vanilla and [img]graemlins/choc3.gif[/img] ;)
