where do i find the glasses of identification because edwin cannot learn identify. usually i buy them form the guy on the second floor of garen bayles house but i had to kill him.

Had to kill him?? Did u side with th *other* guild? Just buy identification scrolls, or get to a higher lore level to identify items automatically.

If you killed that guy you're pretty much stuck unless you don't mind cheating.

Cast Limited Wish, but make sure you have at least 18 WIS beforehand. Gulp a Potion of Insight if this is not the case.

Choose a one time wish, choose the option, "I wish to see things as they really are", or something like that. You will get one pair of Glasses of Identification.

Edwin is a Conjurer, he cannot use Divination spells. Ergo, he cannot use Identify scrolls.

That might be one reason why he goofs up with that nether scroll.

getting the glasses wia Wish is really cool! Do we have a list of all of the possible Wish results anywhere? My favorite is, of course, (the repeatable!) make your party as though they had rested all night - true and utter power!

ALL wish options are repeatable, but not all limited wish options. Wish you hope to get that wish, limited wish the list only varies with your wisdom.

Sigh... next time I am going to put spell names in bold and in <font color="white">white</font>... or not. Irregardless, as LennonCook explained, the option to get a pair of Glasses of Identification is from the Limited Wish spell, as I stated quite clearly above.
