I know there are a lot of fans of Terry Pratchett's Discworld-series on these boards, so I'm curious: who is your fav character?
The blundering wizard Rincewind, or his long-time acquaintance Death? Granny Weatherwax or Nanny Ogg? The Librarian, the Archchancellor or the Dean? Captain Carrot, Angua, Sergeant Detritus? Or someone else entirely?

My personal favorite would be the Librarian. Apart from being the smartest person on the entire Disc, I like the way he can peel bananas with his feet. That's just not something you see your average librarian do very often.

Death of Rats would be my favourite, followed by Death himself.
Those, and I liked the Lu Tze character a lot too...

I have to say that the Bursar is easily the best. He seems to have a firm grasp of what the Discworld is really all about - complete and total nonsense. And he always has the funniest lines, a real Monty Python heritage character if ever there was one.

Hard as heck to pick just one... okay, maybe Cohen the Barbarian, for sheer nuttiness and guts!
