Does putting points into two handed weapon style help with using bows?

They're two handed weapons, but two handed weapon style seems like it might apply only to weapons you strike with.

The character creation menu actually explicitly states that the two handed style does NOT grant any bonuses for bows and crossbows.

After all fighting with a claymore or a spear is significantly different from fighting with a bow.

the only things that affect bows are dexterity and the # of proficiency slots put on it (as well as the strength needed for the bigger bows)
