I would have to say this past year My family and "in-laws" went to
Disney,5 families in all shared a big condo in Florida. We went in October This was unfortanately not a very good vacation, for many reasons. Everyone got along fairly well but the weather was just down right miserable http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif I believe the warmest day it only reached the mid 70's and the rest were in the low 60's. The parks were so packed it made me sick! I will never again travel to Disney at that time of the year and I will never again go anywhere with that many people! I will chalk this up as another one of my many lessons learned http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif ------------------ http://www.gldb.com/wayno/wizard1.gif http://www.gldb.com/wayno/name.gif |
Disney vacation. Lol. It seems everyone has the hell trip
to Disney. My worst vacation was probably when I was much younger and was forced to drive across North America with my parents. I was probably around ten at the time and the last thing I wanted was to hang out with my parents, let alone be in their company 24/7. Arggh...I can still remember the fighting, the screaming, the torture. This is where I learned to escape reality and let my mind fall into a semi-catatonic state wherein I could travel time, live my fantasy's and dream my life away... http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/DRUIDD.gif [This message has been edited by Djinn Raffo (edited 06-16-2001).] |
I have never had any terrible vacations since I have been an adult but I remember one when I was a kid where my older sister tried to drown me in a pool and I nearly drowned her climbing on her to reach the surface of the water. We would both have drowned had my dad not noticed me struggling to surface and reached under, pulling me out, & allowing her to come back up for air. (He did not know she was there or that I was standing on her head at the time LOL)
That same vacation, again in the pool, she slapped me upside the head for no reason with water cupped in her hand and the strike landed directly over my ear with the force of it pushing the water into my ear canal. My eardrum was perforated as a result and I have had problems with it here and there all my life not to mention that perforated eardrums cause partial deafness. Sisters...can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em! Thankful I don't have to spend my vacations with anyone but the people whose company I trust and enjoy. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif Moni ------------------ http://members.aol.com/lasttrueprincess/images/ltp4.gif |
