Hwy, guys, can anyone tell me who all returns from BG? I see lots of references to people my characters know, but I neverfound in the first game. Thanks!
Ummm.....how many times did you play BG1? If you explored everything, then you met everyone.
Weeeell... Some people are tricky to find. Kivan can only be found a certain time of day, for example. And Shar-Teel is in one of those godforsaken wilderness areas way the hell over to the east, far removed from the main areas. Korgan's shop is relatively difficult to find. You won't find Alora if you don't happen to enter the Hall of Wonders after nightfall, and if you've talked to the monks you'd know it's closed at that time (And yet they still let you in and nobody seems to care).

Oh, well I meant people from the first game who make appearances in the second. It doesn't have to be a playable character. For example, I ran into Neeber's son Noober in the slums. And Neb was apparently part of a quest in the first game. And I've seen the Bard from Beregost. But who else makes cameos?
Lets see, you'll find Quayle in the Circus Quest, Coran and Safana have a love affair, you'll meet Faldorn as part of a Shadow Druid quest.
And who can forget Xzar and Montaron, my favorite Zhentarim, crazy necromancer and halfling fighter/thief. (Not saying much)
There is a reference to Prism (remember Greywolf?) in the Sir Sarles quest Tazok shows up in Firkraag's lair. By, the way, it was Kagain's shop (the dude with 20 con!!!) [ 09-09-2002, 10:38 PM: Message edited by: True_Moose ] |
Who was Tazok again. I know I remember that name, but I can't replace it.
Others from BG who make a cameo, and whom I can remember:
Khalid (sort of ;) ) Ajantis Garrick Branwen (in the tutorial) Xan(in the tutorial) Belt (in the tutorial) Tiax |
Well, where is Tiax? And I've got to meet Ajantis, cause he was my second tank in the first game.
Tiax is in the Asylum. No big surprise here.
Ajantis is one of the paladins you accidentally kill in the Windspear Hills. Korgan, Kagain, what's the difference. There's a glut of CE dwarves, especially considering the usual dwarven alignment is LG. Let's see... FYI, Neb is the guy who helps you break out of the prison in Baldur's Gate near the end of the game. He killed either 33 or 36 children, if memory serves. Ah yes. Ellesime is mentioned in BG.. Where, you ask? Why, she was the one whose beauty drove poor Prism to madness and emerald theft. Centeol, the freaky fat woman by the spiders in Cloakwood, was cursed by an archmage named Jon. I have no idea if she's talking about Irenicus, but it sure sounds like his style. |
