whats the highest lv spell that a sorcerer can do?

Jeffi0 09-09-2002 04:07 PM

A sorcerer gets the exact same spells and spells per level as a mage. The only difference is the sorcerer chooses a small selection of spells and a mage chooses a wide selection from scrolls and has to memorize. Also, in 3e a mage's governing attribute is INT but a sorcerer's is CHA.

It says in the character creation screen that INT is the prime stat...

Your Sorcerer can be a drooling idiot with 3 INT and still cast all his/her spells... sad but true. As such, a Sorcerer has a very low optimal minimum statistics.

A Sorcerer can cast a maximum of 6 spells per spell level, and know 5 spells per spell level. This is their maximum base. Equipment can help them cast more spells per spell level.

What is the equipment you are speaking about? Ring of Wizardry and such?

Yes.

PS: What happened to my WinZIP request?

Amulet of metaspell influence. (+1 level 2)

Ring of Acuity. (+1 level 2 +1 level 3 +1 level 4)

Ring of Wizardry (+1 level 5 +1 level 6 +1 level 7)

Dakkon's Zerth Blade (+1 level 1 +1 level 2 +1 level 3 +1 level 4)

Minor correction. Ring of Acuity is +2 level 2, +1 level 3, +1 level 4.

Yes, I said IN 3E (nwn) the sorc's governing stat is Cha. BTW, it's a shame the BG1 Ring of Wizardry isn't in BG2. I LOVED all those Magic Missiles.. :D
